Job Overview

We are currently hiring a Mechanical Technician to join ourgrowing field team. This role involves working on mechanical systems in variouscommercial and industrial settings, including HVAC systems, boilers, chillers,and piping installations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technicalknowledge, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to work both independentlyand as part of a team. Projects are located throughout the GTA, with frequentwork in Mississauga, Etobicoke, East York, and Oakville.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of mechanical/HVAC/plumbingexperience in commercial/industrial settings

- Valid G class driver’s license and reliabletransportation

- Ability to read and interpret mechanicaldrawings and schematics

- Valid certifications: Working at Heights/WHMIS willingness to obtain)

- Strong communication skills and the ability towork well under pressure

- Must be comfortable working in dynamic job siteconditions, including outdoors and at heights

- Must be physically able to lift and carry up to50 lbs regularly

- Flexibility to work occasional evenings,weekends, or overtime depending on project needs

- Strong work ethic and attention to detail

- Desire to grow with the company and take on increasing responsibilities over time

Assets

- Post-secondary diploma in mechanical or HVAC-related program is an asset

- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, piping, and mechanical components is an asset

- Experience with installation of equipment such as boilers, pumps, chillers, and air handlers is an asset

- Gas Technician license (G3 or G2) is a strong asset

- ODP certification is an asset

Job Responsibilities

- Assist with the install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC and mechanical systems

- Read blueprints, specifications, and schematics to determine work procedures

- Help skilled tradespeople to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently and professionally

- Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines

- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

- Ensure all work is completed to code and in compliance with safety regulations

- Perform site clean-up and help maintain an organized, safe job site

- Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety policies

- Other duties as required by supervisors orproject managers
